Funny things I heard on my Hooty trip

OK, not everyone is going to get these, but trust me, they are all funny:

Jen and Scott are so lucky, they can visit Oklahoma any time they want.

Touristy day...in Texas!!!!

Just getting ready to head to the Fort Worth Stockyards!!! I am sure many fun pictures will be taken and lots of touristy stuff purchased for family and friends back home. Everyone have a great day...cause we plan on it!!!

In Texas...doin the time warp!

OK, so it's after 1am...in Texas, and I am listening to Bekah and Dawn singing and acting out the Time Warp...then Dawn had to take it to the next level and start doing the Monty Python impressions...damn, damn, damn I am laughing my silly ass off!!!! I did start it by making Bekah sing the Titanic song...mwahahaahaha!!!!Here's a pic!

Arkansas Saturday night!!!!!

WOOOHOOOO!!! We got to spend a great evening with Jen at Papa's pizzaria in Ft Smith - one of Jen and Scott's local hangouts :-) Great music, great food and great beer!!!!! Now we are all hanging in the hotel - here's a pic for y'all

OK, so we get off the plane in Denver, run to the next gate and LOL that we should take a pic of the gate for our flight. I reached for the camera and... it was gone! It fell out of my bag on the plane. Needless to say, I jogged to the whole OTHER end of the airport to get it and had to take this pic

We're doing stuff...in Texas :-)

Although, as this is typed, we are no longer in Texas...we're in Arkansas, after driving through Oklahoma today. Did you know that armadillos are common roadkill in this part of the country?? Or that you have to watch for turtles crossing the interstate? Well, one gave his life under our rental car today so I know this now!!

What a great trip we are having!!! Dawn, Bekah and Kirstin arrived in Texas Friday afternoon and then Riff came to our hotel and we had drinks and headed out to the bars!! Many many drinks were consumed, and there was a late night excursion to the taco cart for some lengua tacos :-) We all know they were good, but the memory of being there is a bit fuzzy! Of course we had to hit another bar after that - thirsty and all!!

We had the distinct pleasure of meeting Papa Dan, Riff's best friend, and have some great pictures of the evening - which will get posted as soon as I drag my lazy ass to the car to get the camera and download ;-)

Oh ya, this is Kirstin in case anyone is curious ;-)

And...we are all doing well with incorporating the phrases y'all and fixin-to into our vocabularies!!
